Saarathi is a Bangalore based registered Trust under Karnataka Trust Act in 2001.

Saarathi is a voluntary organisation focusing on dissemination of qualitative information through the Mainstream Media.

Saarathi conducts periodical workshops and seminars for the benefit of NGOs working at the grass root level, fiction, tele-serial and play writers, and for both electronic and print media personnel. The purpose of the workshops and seminars is to sensitize the media and writers about the various social sensitive issues. These programmes also help in bridging the gap between media and development sector. It produces educational and socio-legal issue based and organisational promotion programmes for both audio and visual electronic media. In a short span of three years, Saarathi has built a strong network among NGOs, Media, Cultural and Government agencies.
